Advanced Leadership Development Programme
Crafting Leadership in Public Service (CLIPS)
In Collaboration Date Participants
Centre for Social Leadership, Australia September 2021 25 (Grade JUSA C)
The Crafting Leadership in Public Service was facilitated by Dr.
Paul Porteous, the Director of the Centre for Social Leadership,
Australia. CLIPS explores the dynamics of exercising leadership
by bringing fresh perspective to persistent and challenging
problems. It goes beyond looking at technical or management
processes, to build an in-depth understanding about the nature
of leadership during periods of change. The in-class leadership
tasks are designed to increase the capacity of organisations and
communities to adapt to changing environments. The insightful
series of sessions also allowed participants to continuously look
at the importance of collaboration amongst stakeholders in
achieving meaningful and effective outcomes.

The Senior Digital Leadership Programme in collaboration with
Centre for Applied Data Science Malaysia was designed for
participants to gain insight into how data-driven and AI-centric
organisations operate differently within a new organisational
architecture following the pandemic. The programme also
allowed participants to redefine how an organisation can create,
capture, share, and deliver value by leveraging on emerging
and futuristic technologies. In doing so, strategies, roadmaps
and competencies were identified in developing data-driven
operating models and cultures.
