Leadership Presence
Organisation
Holding public office provides an advantage to Ministry of Education (MOE)
make a difference in society. It also comes with huge
responsibilities. Although the expectations are always Date No. of Participants

hand. Public officers must be able to critically identify 2020
issues, zoom into the actual causes, and suggest
suitable interventions to the administration. Such clarity
helps to enhance confidence and ensure efficient
utilisation of resources. In short, that is the nuance
of the virtual leadership development programme
“Leadership Presence”, a collaboration between RSOG
and the Ministry of Education (MOE) for senior officers
from various shared services.
Leading at the Peak
Organisation
The importance of continuity has always been Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM & ILIM)
acknowledged. Often, the ability to adjust and adapt
are essential to ensure continuity. With that in mind, Date No. of Participants
Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) October - 4
through its training arm, Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia November
(ILIM) collaborated with RSOG to develop and deliver 2020
a senior leadership programme “Leading At The Peak”
to identify principal officers in the department. This
inaugural programme used a combination of learning
methods; self-learning as well as guided learning,
spread over a one (1) month timeframe and conducted
fully virtually. Creativity and Innovation, Managing
Stakeholders, and Decision Making were the three
competencies emphasised in this programme. YBhg
Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin (RSOG Board of
Trustees) also shared his experience and interacted
with participants during the mentor coaching session.
