RSOG collaborated with Malaysia Digital Economy
Corporation (MDEC) to conduct two sessions of Policy
Discourse Series, focusing on Digital Inclusion in Sharing
Economy with the first centred on “Digital Inclusion:
Sharing Economy in Services and Tourism” and the
second entitled “Digital Inclusion in RMK-12: Policy and
Regulatory Considerations”. Both sessions were led by
April Rinne. The Guest Speaker shared the trajectory of
digital technology in sharing economy, case examples
of governments adapting to such advancements, and
suggestions on how to balance industry needs and
economic growth while protecting the society at large
in light of these changes.
