The Ministry of Plantation Industries And Commodities Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities
Malaysia (MPIC) has initiated the Shark Tank Project.
This project is inspired by a widely followed reality tv Date No. of Participants
show named “Shark Tank”. In this start-up entrepreneur August - 20
show, people competed to sell their ideas to venture October 2020
capital. In the context of MPIC, officers identified for
the “Shark Tank” project were required to come out
with ideas that can potentially help the commodity
and plantation sector in Malaysia. These ideas will be
rigorously challenged, presented, documented, and
eventually published by the ministry. In that light, MPIC
collaborated with Razak School of Government (RSOG)
to develop and implement a leadership programme
that can facilitate the implementation of the “Shark
Tank” project. This is action-based-like learning is
named Project X. The three months programme
consists of workshop, group activities, mentor coaching
and presentation.

Leadership for FELDA
Organisation

This programme is anchored around the application Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA)
of six must-have competencies among emerging
leadership in FELDA. A series of group idea generating Date No. of Participants
exercises helped the participants to enhance 22 & 23 20
camaraderie and understanding between functional September
